Lotería de Papel

This ongoing project reimagines all 54 cards from La Lotería, one of Mexico’s most beloved games and a cornerstone of its culture. Each card is recreated using my cut-paper technique, blending traditional themes with my own style. The work is inspired by nostalgia for the vibrant culture of my home country.

The collection was previously exhibited at the ArtsKC Gallery from September 6 to 27, 2024.
